Browsers slow down background tabs. Minuto schedules the alarm sound with your audio device the moment you press Start, so it plays on time while you work in other tabs. If your computer sleeps or your phone screen locks, sound may not play, so turn on Keep screen awake.

Copy link gives you an address with the current duration. You can also write it yourself: add ?t= followed by seconds, or a format such as 10m or 1h30m.
